Tour to Hyderabad
A study tour to Hyderabad was conducted with 69 students of the First Years and four members from the Faculty of Architecture from 12 Dec to 18th Dec, 2012. This place was selected to acquaint the students with the masterpieces of Medieval Architecture of Deccan, to expose them to the Hi-tech Architecture of the globalized era and also to give them an experience of cinema set-design architecture techniques and of Tollywood. During the tour, the caravan visited Char Minar, Salar Jung Museum, Golconda Fort and its light and sound show, IGBC rated CII Building, Chowmohalla Palace, Shilparamam etc. The concept of the tour was to make students aware of the various facets of design and it successfully ended with zeal and vision for the next semesters under Ar.
