DATE OF REOPENING OF SCHOOL OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE, BHOPAL.

Summer vacation for students will commence from 20th April 2020, in continuation to Closure of Institute for Lockdown. Requirements of online submission of assignments have to be completed by 19th April 2020.

Students’ reporting date after summer vacation to Hostels is 13th June 2020. Hostels will remain closed till 13 th June 2020. Classes start from 15th June 2020. Details are given in the Revised Academic Calendar.

REGARDING INTERNSHIPS AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING ACROSS PROGRAMMES

i. Students of B. Arch. VIII Semester currently undertaking training would have to report back to campus in June (date to be communicated by Training and Placement Cell) and have their viva voce during the End Semester Examinations. However, the mandatory training requirement period has been reduced for this batch, in view of the abnormal situation. Detailed instructions will be communicated separately to this batch via e-mail.

ii. The Summer Training for the M. Arch students between 2nd and 3rd Semesters would be cancelled for this batch. They would be required to undertake training of a shorter period in the Winter break of 2020 or after Thesis of 2021. The format of these will be decided by Departments and may include other types and organisations than those mentioned in the syllabus.

iii. The Professional Training which is part of the B. Plan VII Semester curriculum is to be shifted to the end of the semester from mid October to December. Students of this batch would have to report back to campus in June, and the classes for their new session will continue in August and September followed by End semester examinations in the first week of October, for this batch only. They would then leave for Training and return in the next semester in January 2021.
